Hail the gods! An agreement has been reached between the
Kingdoms of Langington and Jordyen and the Dervatear nation of Tsan.

After eleven full days of negotiations, the rulers of the Kingdoms of Jordyen and Langington, as well as the Dervatear nation of Tsan, have come to an agreement with regards to the Province of Arvandus, all its lands, and the citizens within.

Tradition bound, King Durant de Angelosis the Fifth of Langington, King Rhyus Gatau "The Lion" of Jordyen, and King Dommic Stonefast of Tsan, would have been willing to step aside if a proper heir had come forth to claim the thrown. Seeing as though King Tearsac of the Plains, former ruler of the Province of Arvandus, gained power over the crown and province through the assassination of Arvandus' former ruler, Lord Mickel Hemminforth, there was no proper heir. Upon receiving request of information regarding King Tearsac's past within the Fpathen nation of Jahhne, the Council of Twelve replied by explaining that Tearsac of the Plains had never coupled with another, and that he had never had any children. As far as the Council and Jahhne were concerned, Tearsac of the Plains never existed, and the Province of Arvandus was to be handled any way the three rulers saw fit.

Before the Arvandian Offensive

The immediate concern for King Stonefast of Tsan was the forty thousand Dervatear living within the Kienken and Fillian Mountains. Although he was prepared to take them back to Tsan, King Stonefast thought it best if the Dervatear could remain in the two ranges and continue to mine the common and precious metals found within the mountains. Because of the distance between Tsan and the Fillian and Kienken Mountains, King Stonefast has asked that, as a condition of the separation of the Province of Arvandus, the Dervatear living in the two ranges be allowed to continue their lives as citizens of the nation of Tsan. The Dervatear would not fall under the taxation laws of either Kingdom, although they would be held accountable as it pertains to general territorial laws. Also, they would be allowed to trade freely with the other nations and kingdoms of Western Glashia as representatives of the nation of Tsan. Any other minor territorial or governing problems that might arise in the future would be worked through then. To these demands, King de Angelosis and King Gatau agreed.

King de Angelosis felt that, because of the sixty years of conflict King Gatau and his Jordanians had to face with regards to the Inner Isles and Arvandus' claim to them, as well as the continual sea battles on the Inner Sea between Jordanian and Arvandian warships, the Kingdom of Jordyen should be compensated. Thus, King Rhyus Gatau has agreed upon all lands west of Trader's Highway--from the coast of the Inner Sea to the north, to the southern foothills of the Kienken Mountains and a small portion of the Kienken Forest to the south, and to Einith's Bend to the west. King Gatau would also take control over Durant's Hold, the recently established village and stronghold located on the west side of Trader's Highway, in the southern foothills of the Kienken Mountains. Finally, King Gatau would govern over the Arvandian Isles.

After the Arvandian Offensive

For King de Angelosis, the borders of the Kingdom of Langington will be extended to encompass those lands found within the Province of Arvandus that are to the east of Trader's Highway--again, from the coast of the Inner Sea to the north and the foothills of the Fillian Mountains to the far north and northeast. This would allow Langington access to the Inner Sea, as well as mining rights over an entire mountain range.

To avoid any territorial conflicts in the future, the city of Port Dynard, former capital of the Province of Arvandus, will become a free city, encompassing a large portion of land to the west, south, and east of the city. The free city of Port Dynard will be ruled over by a governor elected by both King de Angelosis and King Gatau, the first of which being named at a later date.

While Langington's newly aquired land will be ruled over by King de Angelosis, as is the rest of his Kingdom, Jordyen's new parcel of untamed land--to be referred to as the Arvandian Commonwealth--as well as the Arvandian Isles, will be ruled over by King Gatau's eldest son, Prince Femnyer, Royal Advisor of Military Affairs and Commander of the Armies of the Kingdom of Jordyen.

This day, the 25th Day of Morning Dew, in the Year of Our Keeper, 5398, is a joyous day for all in the Kingdoms of Langington and Jordyen, and in the Dervatear nation of Tsan. May the Gods of the Greater and Lesser Heavens shine down upon us with their glory, and bless the futures of these three great nations.
